The control of the 6DOF motion platform and rotating mechanism is based on the motion curve required by the VR content. The motion curve is an array of time and posture. The servo driver is controlled by the PC motion controller to move according to the posture. The six-degree-of-freedom platform and rotating mechanism are under the closed-loop control composed of the motion controller, servo driver and servo motor, and can complete the film action accurately and quickly.

The motion data of each axis of the motion platform and the space vertical rotating mechanism are derived according to the VR content motion curve. After the coordinate system transformation, the forward and inverse solution algorithm and interpolation algorithm are used to perform data simulation calculation, and then the corresponding data is sent to the actuator, and the load end posture is generated in real time. The main algorithms used are; classic control algorithm, PID control algorithm, modern control algorithm, optimal control algorithm, sliding mode control algorithm and adaptive algorithm.
